Drawing from Concealment

Practice, practice, practice!

Tarnkappe Gear LLC highly recommends practicing your draw with a blue gun or a firearm that has been verified to be fully unloaded to avoid accidental discharges. Training will familiarize you with:

1. Where your clothing has to go,
2. Where your gun goes and
3. Where your hand goes on the gun.

Always keep in mind the “Four Basic Safety Rules”.

• Treat the gun as if it was loaded
• Keep the gun pointed in a safe direction
• Keep your finger off the trigger outside the trigger guard until your sights are on your target
• Know your target and what is beyond it

When clearing your garment, grab the shirt near the hem and forcefully pull the material straight up. The video demonstration using the weak hand highlights the Tarnkappe Gear advantage, as the snaps release the user can easily draw from concealment.
